Legionnaires Risk Assessment Review

A periodic compliance audit conducted at least once per year to determine whether an existing full risk assessment remains valid or if a new inspection is required. It functions as a routine monitoring tool to check if there have been any physical alterations to the water system, changes in building usage, or new information regarding system risks since the original assessment was performed. The review systematically tracks critical safety parameters, such as verifying that water outlet temperatures remain within safe limits (hot water flowing at or above 50°C and cold water staying at or below 20°C), assessing changes in occupant susceptibility, and confirming that no cases of Legionnaires' disease have been linked to the system. Ultimately, if any of these risk factors or changes are flagged, the template establishes that a full new risk assessment must be carried out by a competent person.
